Uppercup frequently asked questions (FAQ'S)

 

Are you open on UK Bank Holidays?

No. We need a break too. You can still place orders during this time, but these will not be processed until the next working day as there is no postal collection or delivery on UK public holidays.


Do you record my credit or debit card details on your website?

NO NEVER. When you enter your card details at the end of entering your order details you will already have been transfered to the UK's largest card processing website called "Protx". We never record any card details on our website. After entering your card details you will probably be transferred to your own card issuing website to enter some characters from your online "3D" password. This procedure is commonplace these days and helps protect you and us from card theft and fraud. It is a pain but very necessary. It's the online equivalent of "chip and pin" which we are all now so used to when buying anything in person.


How are items packaged?

All items sold are carefully tissue wrapped by hand to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. We then insert them into either a bubble-wrap padded envelope or a strong plastic bag, both of which are plain and no-one will be able to identify the contents.We also enclose a free gift with every order. You will receive your invoice with the order unless the invoice address is different from the delivery address in which case the invoice is usually sent to the invoice address seperately.


I'm not sure of my exact bra size?

My item has gone missing in the post! 

It is our responsibility for all items until you receive them and your responsibility if you return item(s) for exchange or refund until we receive them. In either event, missing post is ALWAYS investigated. Royal Mail require a 14 day period to elapse before an investigation is launched. If UpperCup confirm that we have dispatched an item (you receive an automated email confirming dispatch) and it doesn't arrive within 72 hours then please take the following action:

1. Check with anyone else living at your house

2. Check with neighbours who may have taken the item in whilst you were out

3. Check with the postman/woman

4. Check for any cards left by Royal Mail informing you that they were unable to deliver the item

5. Check with your local Sorting office

6. Once you have done all of the above, inform us. We will then inform Royal Mail and we will be required to pass on to them your details so they can launch an investigation. 


What's the difference between a moulded and a foam moulded bra?

When worn, both bras generally look the same. A foam moulded bra is foam filled to keep it's shape.A moulded bra is made by being shaped around a mould and not foam filled.


How can I pay?

Debit card, Credit card or Paypal. Can I return an item?

Yes, providing the item(s) are unworn and with all the labels still in tact and are placed back in their original packaging. You can try on any item just like you would in a shop and then, if you are not completely satisfied, return it for an exchange or refund. If you are posting the item from within the UK (including N. Ireland) you can use the free return label on your invoice. In all cases, remember that returned items are your responsibility until we receive them back so please ensure you have taken adequte measures to insure the items. From the UK, either return the item by recorded delivery or at the least, obtain a free "Certificate of Posting" from the Post Office.


How long do I have to wait for delivery?

We average 95% of all deliveries from stock and usually dispatch them the same day that they are ordered providing the order is placed before 5.00pm. Shapewear and Sale items are dispatched 99% of the time on the same day they are ordered.
